Continuing with this sunny thread, there will be a total solar eclipse a week from today, on Friday, August 1st at 8:30am GMT. Here’s your chance to go outdoors and spend 2:30 minutes not under direct sunlight.
Alas, you will have to be in Canada, Greenland, Siberia, or Northern China to experience this adventure in its totality, or somewhere near Maine to see a partial eclipse. It’s alright, not like we wanted to go out in the heat any way. More info at National Geographic News.
